Website and Podcasting Equipment

Want to start a website or podcast like Death Goes Digital and don't know where to start?

No, problem, I was there one day too!

Here are the tools and services that I use to create and publish the Death Goes Digital Website, Blog and Podcast. Using these tools, you can easily create stunning websites and engaging podcasts to promote your ideas and products. If you need any help please contact me.

Let me help you get your important message to the world.

Website and hosting

This website is built on Squarespace - this is a way to use their templates to present your ideas online. It is fairly simple to set up, use and add content. It is almost like a "website in a box' solution. This has some drawbacks and restrictions in designing your own style and customising the look and feel but overall it is an excellent solution. This template is the BEDFORD template. I use Libsyn to host the podcast and many of the resources you will find available here.

My other websites have been built on Wordpress. Millions of websites are built on the Wordpress platform and complete flexibility and design can be controlled to make unique and individual sites. With a simple interface, countless free plugins and themes, and a vibrant community, it’s no wonder an estimated 27% of all websites in existence rely on it. The simplest solution to setting up a site through Wordpress is to use Bluehost. There are other solutions but you can start your WordPress site with just a click and manage all your installations from one place. They make it easy so you can start building your website immediately. Check out Bluehost here

I love Mac products. Yes, they can be a bit expensive, but they last and are easy to sync together. The iMac replaced a laptop and it is an amazingly quick and efficent computer. It looks fantastic also!

Camera Gear

Sony ILCE6000LS Compact System Camera

Many of the photos on the site are from unsplash where you can find royalty free photos. But there are also some of my own images and all of them are shot using the Sony A6000 which is amazing!
